COSTA MESA, Calif. — Hanley Wood | Meyers Research, the housing industry's leading provider of rich data, backed by Zonda and Metrostudy, announced that it has named James "Jim" Adams as its new chief technology officer (CTO) reporting directly to CEO Jeff Meyers.

Adams joins at an exciting time as the company continues to leverage emerging technology to enhance products and services — and ultimately optimize value for its customers, partners and shareholders and power the next generation of builders.

Adams brings more than 20 years of technology leadership experience building world-class products and services and most recently served as CTO at HouseCanary and ComeHome driving proptech integrations and tools. At Hanley Wood | Meyers Research, Adams will lead strategic, cross-company initiatives, including technology infrastructure, engineering and product innovation.

Prior to his tenure at HouseCanary and ComeHome, Adams was responsible for delivering Amazon's customers the best possible mobile shopping experience and bringing that experience to new, novel devices. Adams also spent several years in various engineering and leadership roles across diverse private, government, and military organizations.

Adams holds a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Computer Science and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
