DENVER — BluSky Restoration Contractors LLC, has appointed Jeffrie A. Thornsbury to the newly-created position of vice president of human resources. In this new role, Thornsbury will provide executive-level leadership and guidance to the firm's human resources operations, including its long-range strategic talent management goals.

BluSky has merged with four restoration firms in the past three years and has grown its national presence, with nearly 800 employees serving 33 locations throughout the United States.

A passionate human capital advocate, Thornsbury brings an extensive background in talent acquisition and employee engagement to BluSky. He joins the firm from Amazon, where he supported 156 locations and over 5,000 employees and associates as a regional senior human resources manager. As vice president of human resources, he will report to BluSky's CEO and joins the firm's executive leadership team.

Thornsbury holds a Bachelor of Science degree in allied health from Slippery Rock University and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Averett University.
