ATLANTA — Braswell Construction Group (BCG) was selected as the 2019 DaVinci Project of the Year Award Winner, a prestigious award only given to three roofing specialists nationwide.

BCG is recognized as a DaVinci Masterpiece Contractor by DaVinci Roofscapes. The program, sponsored by DaVinci RoofScapes, was established to facilitate relations with select contractors in recognition of their expertise and experience in installing and maintaining DaVinci synthetic slate and shake roofing systems. To gain acceptance into the program, contractors must be nominated or approved by their respective territory manufacturer's representative.

According to the DaVinci RoofScpaes website, BCG earned this for reroofing a waterfront home at Lake Lanier, Ga. that had natural cedar shake shingles. The shingles had deteriorated, and the homeowners wanted a new look and a roof that would outlive them. BCG installed DaVinci Single-Width Slate in a brownstone color blend.
