MINNEAPOLIS — To help metal roofing suppliers, manufacturers and contractors expand their product offering and elevate their profitability, Sherwin-Williams is exhibiting its BUILDING SOLUTIONS program at this year’s International Roofing Expo (IRE).

Attendees at the expo, held from Feb. 4-6 in Dallas, will learn how to protect, seal, repair and restore their roofing projects using this unified portfolio of products.

The Sherwin-Williams BUILDING SOLUTIONS program provides a complete selection of metal roof and restoration coatings, sealants and touch-up paint that all work together by design. The brands available under this single platform include Fluropon® and WeatherXL™ coil coatings, Geocel® roof sealants, Ready Match® Touchup, Uniflex® fluid applied roofing systems and Kool Seal® roof coatings.

“The products offered through the Building Solutions program help advance the protection, installation, maintenance and restoration of all roof substrates,” said Mark MacDonald, sales and market manager for Coil Coatings, Sherwin-Williams. “We take pride in the performance of these compatible products, which are engineered to withstand the harshest conditions.”

Fluropon and WeatherXL coil coatings, Geocel sealants and ReadyMatch products are ideal to use together to protect, seal and touch-up metal materials throughout installation. Then during restoration, Uniflex systems, Geocel sealants and Kool Seal coatings can be utilized to efficiently restore roof systems.

According to Principia, a research and consulting firm that specializes in building products, the metal roofing market is expected to grow 7% through 2020.

“As homeowner preference for metal roofing continues to grow, we see a need in the market to equip metal roofers with the products and expertise they need,” said MacDonald. “With a complete metal program, roofers can differentiate their business, earn more high-end projects and increase their profit margins.”
