BELOIT, Wis. — Mule-Hide Products Co. Inc. has released a video that shows how to install its new line of Shapeshift pitch pans.

As first reported by Roofing Contractor on July 30, the new ShapeShift line was introduced by Mule-Hide Products as “a single solution for creating pitch pans for use in virtually any low-slope roofing job – including with smooth modified bitumen systems and on both horizontal and vertical surfaces.”

The line – consisting of ShapeShift Pitch Pan straight and outside corner sections and MP Liquid Sealant – can be used with EPDM, TPO, PVC, metal, spray polyurethane foam (SPF), elastomeric acrylic coating, smooth modified bitumen and smooth built-up roofing systems.

When filled with JTS 1 joint and termination sealant from Mule-Hide Products, ShapeShift Pitch Pans can be installed on walls, enabling them to be used to flash troublesome cables or conduits penetrating parapet walls when a pre-fabricated pipe boot will not work. (See the new how-to video below.)

The straight and corner sections feature interlocking joints and snap together to form square and rectangular pitch pans 4” x 4” and larger.

MP Liquid Sealant is available in white, black and gray. It comes in 2-liter foil pouches, with four pouches to a pail. The threaded cap on the foil pouches allows any unused product to be saved for up to 30 days after opening.

ShapeShift Pitch Pans are available in white. Made of a high-strength polymer, the straight sections are approximately 3 inches long and the radius corner pieces measure approximately 2” x 2”. Cartons contain 16 straight sections or 16 or 48 corner pieces.
