Boral Roofing LLC, the nation’s largest provider of sustainable clay and concrete roof tile systems, recently announced its participation in the 2017 Dallas Decorators Showhouse.  Bringing together some of the biggest names in the interior design industry to realize their interpretations of classic Texas style, the Showhouse will highlight the utmost in luxury living and, once sold, will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association with a portion of the proceeds assisting the organization. The 7,938-square-foot home, located just outside Dallas in the premier Southlake community, fuses the best of intriguing architecture and big, beautiful design expected in Texas estates.

Using Boral Tejas España, Corey Construction installed the barrel profiled concrete tile on the Showhouse using a custom color blend of 40 percent Dark Bordeaux, 40 percent Chestnut Burnt, and 20 percent Desert Sage hues to provide a uniquely rich aesthetic. The highly durable roof features an energy-efficient cool roof system that includes vented eave risers and elevated battens that helps to reduce energy costs associated with cooling the home in summer and heating it in winter.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this stunning and luxurious Showhouse that not only lets us illustrate Boral Roofing’s products in action, but also lets us support a great cause like the Alzheimer’s Association,” said Mike Middleton, Boral Roofing. “The home’s roof, constructed with our beautiful Tejas España concrete tile, not only helps complement the light color palette of the Showhouse’s exterior, it also helps to protect the home from wild, oftentimes unpredictable Texas weather, which can include heat, humidity, rain and hail events.”

From the driveway, the home catches the eye with pleasing architecture and a feeling of grandeur. Lush landscaping covers the spacious grounds. Numerous unique window configurations provide ample natural lighting during the day and cast a warm glow in the evening.

Upon passing through the home’s grand entry, the generous two-story floorplan reveals a master and guest suite, three additional bedrooms with bathrooms, wine room, main and prep kitchen, utility room, and safe room. Entertainment and gathering spaces include a game room, family room, dining room, and large loggia. The two separate two-car garages feature his and her (or everyday and collector) parking, while a sparkling pool and three separate courtyards adorn the backyard.

Presented by Marina Bay Development Corp. in conjunction with Donna Moss and sponsored by Traditional Home Magazine, the Dallas Decorators Show House is open to the public from September 23 through October 22, 2017, and was constructed from the ground up by Paul Moss of Marina Bay Development.
