MALVERN, Pa. – B&R Fournier Construction Inc., of Rehoboth, Mass. has won the Remodeler Project of the Quarter award from CertainTeed Corporation for outstanding work with the company’s roofing and siding products on a recent light commercial property remodel. B&R Fournier purchased the aging building — formerly an auto glass shop — for use as its Massachusetts office and showroom.

In order to transform this nondescript building into an attractive showcase for B&R Fournier Construction and CertainTeed products, the contractor began by re-covering the existing roof with Landmark® Pro asphalt shingles in Max Def Hunter Green. A combination of Cedar Impressions® Double 7-inch Straight Edge Perfection Shingles and Monogram® Double 4-inch Clapboard Siding, both in Charcoal Gray, and InvisiVent® vinyl soffit in Colonial White created a crisp, clean look for the exterior.

“CertainTeed has been a strong partner with my business for many years,” said Ray Fournier, owner of B&R Fournier Construction. “This project was unique in that we were both customer and contractor, and we’re really pleased with the result. Our new office looks terrific, and also serves as an excellent example of our workmanship as well as the low-maintenance beauty, durability and quality of CertainTeed products.”

“B&R Fournier Construction has been a valued CertainTeed customer for a long time, and we are very pleased to honor them with our Remodeler Project of the Quarter award,” said Lisa Leone, director of building solutions at CertainTeed. “They did a fantastic job on this project, which shows how well our exterior building products perform in light commercial applications.”

“I’ve worked with Ray Fournier for many years, and his commitment has always been to exceed his customers’ expectations,” said Don Carlson, territory manager for CertainTeed Roofing. “His business’s longevity and strong referral base are a true testament to his team’s superior workmanship and unmatched service.”

“This project exemplifies the ability of CertainTeed products to transform a building you wouldn’t look twice at into a real showstopper,” noted Chris Boilard, senior territory manager for CertainTeed Siding. “But it’s not surprising. Ray and his staff always go over and above, using tools like our Colorview® Exterior Style and Color Selector to help their customers visualize their options and make comfortable product decisions.”
