Scalo Incorporated Announces Several Promotions within Its Organization
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Roofing Contractor’s 2015 Commercial Contractor of the Year recently announced several promotions throughout its companies.
The new Executive Vice president of Administration and Chief Financial Officer, Michael Andreolli has been with the Scalo companies for 20 years and has shown remarkable trust and dedication to reach this executive level of leadership. As the company adds an additional layer of senior management, Andreolli will be responsible for all finance, human resources, legal, insurance, and technology policies and decisions company-wide.
Mark Heckathorne was promoted to executive vice president of sales and operations and chief operating officer. This role will include a greater responsibility for all operations and sales decisions made company-wide. Heckathorne has been with Burns & Scalo for 26 years.
The new General Manager of the Ohio branch office of Burns & Scalo Roofing is John Lee. Lee has been with the company for 7 years and is taking on greater leadership as he oversees all operations run through the Ohio branch.
Jeff Chrostowski has been promoted to NexGen Design System, Inc.'s general manager. Chrostowski will oversee all activity related to NexGen Design Systems, a Scalo company created to serve the fast growing ACM wall panel market. NexGen's focus is fabrication and design - serving several Scalo operating companies as well as third party clientele.
Lastly, John F. Scalo, Jr. was promoted from project engineer to project manager for both the sheet metal and the repair & maintenance divisions of Burns & Scalo Roofing. Scalo Jr. will take on a greater leadership role as he transitions into overseeing the operations of two divisions of Burns & Scalo Roofing.
These promotions were aligned with the strategic growth plans of the Scalo companies.
