National Roofing Partners (NRP) is proud to announce the appointment of Mallory Tyler to the leadership team of National Women in Roofing (NWIR) as the vice chairperson of the mentorship committee.  The national organization is focused on the empowerment of women within the roofing industry.
 
NRP has been active in the development of NWIR.  As an early supporter and advocate of the new association, Steve Little, NRP’s CEO and Dale Tyler, President of NRP have been formative working with Heidi J. Ellsworth, chairperson of NWIR to help with the formation of a national platform for the new association.  As a volunteer based organization with the goal of providing and growing networking, mentoring and education for women roofing professionals, NWIR will focus on creating opportunities for professional success, development and recruitment of women in roofing.
 
Mallory Tyler will be serving on the mentorship committee, organizing and promoting mentoring opportunities for NWIR.  The primary goal of this committee is to connect members by bringing mentors and mentees together to share best practices for women in the roofing industry.  Tyler will work with Chairperson Jennifer Ford Smith, Senior Manager of Marketing for Johns Manville with sourcing and developing potential mentor and mentee candidates for an emerging mentoring table concept and program.

Mallory Tyler is a Senior National Account Manager at NRP, based in Coppell, TX.  She has been with the company for 5 years and is responsible for executing a national business development strategy to expand existing and pursue new client relationships.  She is also actively involved with several national associations including PRSM (Professional Retail & Store Maintenance), ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) and now “National Women in Roofing”.
 
Tyler will be part of an upcoming event for National Women in Roofing (NWIR); a hospitality reception on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 5:30 pm at the Rosen Center, Executive H Ballroom during the International Roofing Expo (IRE) in Orlando, FL.  The event will be an opportunity for roofing industry professionals to network with peers while focusing on creating educational, mentoring and networking opportunities for those interested in supporting the growth of NWIR.
