HERNDON, Va. — Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. has acquired Wholesale Roofing Supply, a distributor of residential roofing materials located in the Dallas suburb of Grand Prairie. From its nine-acre facility, WRS serves customers throughout the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and is expected to have sales of approximately $34 million in 2014.
Rick McLaughlin, WRS’s president who will continue to lead WRS for Beacon, said, “The entire WRS team is excited to join Beacon, which has a strong, long-standing presence and excellent reputation in the Dallas-Ft. Worth market. Being part of Beacon will allow WRS to bring our customers new product offerings and enable our employees to share in Beacon’s continuing growth and success.
