Owens Corning Redesigns Roofing and Asphalt Website
TOLEDO, Ohio — Owens Corning has launched its new Roofing and Asphalt website for contractors and homeowners on www.owenscorning.com.
“It’s easy to find what you’re looking for as either a contractor or homeowner,” said Steve McCusker, owner and general manager of Roof One in Pontiac, Mich. “The site will help my customers. They can learn about warranties, shingle colors and common roofing problems, and locate contractors — all in one place.”
In addition, homeowners can upload a picture of their home and add Owens Corning shingles to see how they could enhance curb appeal. Users can select shingles that complement their siding, masonry and trim.
After choosing products, the homeowner can send the design to a local contractor for a quote. They also can print and share the image via social media or email.
Visitors to the Roofing and Asphalt site can enjoy many other new features:
- The site is compatible with smart phones and other devices.
- Visitors can choose a user profile that best describes them, allowing for a faster, user-friendly experience.
- Enhanced search functions make it easy to find Owens Corning Roofing Preferred Contractors, compare products and colors, and access warranty details.
These changes were made with homeowners’ and contractors’ needs in mind.
“This redesign was about making sure visitors can quickly access the information they’re looking for,” said Stewart Stearns, digital marketing leader. “We wanted our site to be user friendly and adaptable. The new site allows users to easily connect with Owens Corning on any device.”
