ASHEVILLE, N.C.— GAF has awarded North American Roofing with two 2012 Master Select awards: System Protection Excellence Award and Installation Excellence Award.

To achieve GAF’s Master Select status, contractors are pre-screened for quality and high standards of installation, excellence in customer satisfaction, and dedication to continuous improvement and training through CARE (The Center for Advancement of Roofing Excellence, a nonprofit educational institute).

The System Protection Excellence Award recognizes dedication to helping property owners better understand their roofing options and make educated roofing decisions. North American Roofing achieved this goal by providing guarantee systems to its customers.

The Installation Excellence Award recognizes the highest level of quality installations having received no property owner incidents or complaints.

North American Roofing customers receive detailed existing condition reports, comprehensive proposals and roof-type comparisons, and thorough evaluations and explanations of the short-term versus long-term benefits of different roof systems.

Only 1 percent of roofing contractors in the country have earned GAF’s Master Select status. “It is a distinction that truly sets them apart from the rest…North American Roofing is among the ‘best of the best’,” said Jim Slauson, Vice President of GAF Certified Program and Services.
