Richard Zegelbone Receives RCMA Martin A. Davis Award
WASHINGTON — The Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association (RCMA) recently awarded Richard Zegelbone, president of Tropical Roofing Products, with the RCMA’s Martin A. Davis Industry Leadership Award for 2012.
“Richard has been a committed member since day one of the organization,” RCMA President Jeffrey Blank said. “He is a former president of the RCMA and was one of the charter members at RCMA’s inception. He is an individual worthy of this award for his continued commitment to this organization from the beginning.”
Named for the late Martin A. Davis, one of RMCA’s founding members, the Industry Leadership Award is the highest honor bestowed by the RCMA. The award is presented annually to an individual, selected by his or her peers, who has exemplified outstanding service and made significant contributions to the roof coatings industry.
Richard Zegelbone is the 29th recipient of this award and was presented with this honor at this year’s RCMA Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla. A member of the RCMA since its inception, Richard attended the very first meeting at the Doral in Miami in the early 80s. Richard has held a variety of RCMA board seats, including treasurer, vice president and then president of the Association.
