General Coatings Manufacturing Corporation President Will Lorenz recently received the Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association’s Martin A. Davis Industry Leadership Award, the organization’s highest honor. 

The annual award recognizes an RCMA member who exemplifies outstanding service and has made significant contributions to the roof coatings industry. The first Martin A. Davis Award was presented in 1985, designed to honor and serve in memory of Davis, a visionary founding member of the RCMA who served both the Association and industry with distinction and exceptional service.

Lorenz has worked for decades in the industry and has held many RCMA leadership positions. In a news release, GCMC said his passion as an advocate for the coatings market benefits the company and customers. GCMC is a manufacturer of spray polyurethane foam, polyureas, acrylics, and silicone for various industrial, commercial, and residential use, including roofing, wall insulation, and winery tank applications.

“I’m honored and humbled to receive this distinguished RCMA award. Throughout my career, I’ve continuously grown my knowledge and expertise, recognizing that this would positively affect the industry, the companies for whom I’ve worked, customers, and colleagues,” said Lorenz.

RCMA is the national trade association representing the manufacturers of asphaltic and solar reflective roof coatings and the suppliers to the roof coatings industry.
