WESTMINSTER, Colo. — 3C Network announced a merger with its long term technology partner, Millhouse 1889 LLC (“MH1889”). The new entity combines the best of both companies, enabling 3C Network to offer enhanced services to their members and industry partners, including the recently launched roofing management system “roof-IS”, a comprehensive cloud-based software solution designed specifically for the industry.

As part of the merger, LC Nussbeck, CEO of 3C Network, will take a position on the MH1889 Board of Directors with a mandate for guiding 3C Network direction and technology innovation in the roofing space and continue his role as 3C ambassador with Manufacturing and Distribution. A new COO, who will have operational responsibility for the network, will be appointed for 3C in the coming weeks. In addition, the combined entity will employ 90 individuals in various roles from member services to software design and development, maintaining US offices in Denver, New York and Keene, N.H. as well as the European offices in Dublin and Minsk.

“It has long been our wish at 3C to close the gap between our vision for the future of the roofing and siding industry and delivering the technology that can make it happen. Combining our knowledge with one of the industry’s most advanced software teams will dramatically improve our ability to deliver upon this vision,” said Nussbeck.

“We see enormous synergies in combining the two companies who were already acting as one in the marketplace, and we are very excited to build on the success of our initial release of our member contractors software package, roof-IS,” said Ali Murdoch, CEO of MH1889. “With over 100 member companies fully implemented and a thousand companies preparing to implement roof-IS into their business the combined 3C and MH1889 allows for a far faster and more expedient route to getting them on board.”

3C also announced today that its roof-IS Supplier Portal will be delivered in early January 2013 and will allow 3C Members and participating distributors to transact electronically. Murdoch added, “Now more than ever, technology is needed to make a contractor’s job easier. It not only provides greater efficiencies and reduces costs, but it also meets the ever increasing expectations of customers. The unique roof-IS certainly delivers this latest technology to contractors, but it also provides a virtual roofing eco-system connecting contractors to the supply chain, insurance companies and even their customers - all “under one roof” in a secure cloud.”

“My passion has long been the roofing industry, and I am really proud that we have created a platform to help that industry perform at the highest possible level,” added Nussbeck. “In January we intend to announce a major breakthrough in Quick Estimating and we will be demonstrating that technology and much more at the IRE show in February.”
