ROUND ROCK, Texas — The United Association of Storm Restoration Contractors (UASRC) recently participated in the Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts with a donation of 927 blankets to the New Jersey coast. NorthEast Fleece delivered the blankets to the South Eastern American Red Cross warehouse in Philadelphia Pa. NorthEast Fleece discounted the price by 25 percent due to the UASRC charitable outreach efforts. The Executive Director of the UASRC, Jacob Sachs worked with founding member Mastercraft Exteriors to deliver the blankets in the UASRC disaster trailer. They picked up the blankets from the South Eastern American Red Cross warehouse in Philadelphia Pa. and transported them to Keyport, N.J. The blankets were delivered to a community needs distribution warehouse that is being hosted by the Free Masons and will be distributed to affected families on the New Jersey coast.
