Santacrose was president and CEO of Tecta America since 2001 and oversaw its growth from 16 locations and $160 million in revenue to more than 40 locations and over $400 million in revenue.

I have been impressed by the caliber and commitment of the team across the country, and convinced that we have the talent to realize the tremendous opportunity in the industry,” said Smith. “I see significant growth potential in green, solar, national account business and in our ability to use the strength of our operating units to achieve that growth.”

Prior to joining Tecta America, Smith was with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc, where he spent more than 18 years, and held positions of increasing responsibility. His most recent position was that of vice president of PMCM where he was responsible for project and construction management of buildings and infrastructure, and led a group of 1,500 employees, whose efforts resulted in more than $350 million in revenue.

Smith graduated from Bradley University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and holds a master’s of Business Administration degree in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the St Louis Science Center.
