MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The sales and marketing team for Graco's High-Performance Coatings and Foam group recently completed the spray polyurethane foam (SPF) Chemical Health and Safety Training Program sponsored by the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council (ACC).

“It’s critical that Graco and its distributors stay current with the latest safety practices for the spray foam industry,” said Doug Brady, director of sales and marketing, Graco High-Performance Coatings and Foam. “CPI did a great job of outlining the safety and personal protection measures in its online training course. With the influx of new people into the industry, training is more important now than ever before. I would encourage every company and individual associated with spray foam to take CPI’s course.”

The training is comprised of 12 units, including information on SPF ingredients, safe use, handling, and disposal of SPF, and safety control measures including engineering controls, work practices, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Available atwww.spraypolyurethane.org/, the course takes about two hours to complete.
