Industry Veteran Richard Dennis Barbeau Dies
Richard Dennis Barbeau, a 23-year roofing industry veteran, died on July 27. The resident of Coatesville, Pa. was 53.
BELOIT, Wis. – Richard Dennis Barbeau, a 23-year roofing industry veteran, died on July 27. The resident of Coatesville, Pa. was 53.
Barbeau joined low-slope roofing system supplier Mule-Hide Products Co. Inc. in 1998 as Field Sales Representative – Northeast Territory. In that role, he shared his deep knowledge of commercial roofing applications with customers in Delaware, eastern Maryland, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania and northern Virginia. Previously he worked in the distribution side of the roofing industry, including six years in outside sales for ABC Supply Co. Inc.
Known for his sense of humor, Barbeau was a devoted husband and father. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Barbeau is survived by his wife, Marguerite Barbeau; mother, Ellen Watson Barbeau; daughter, Amanda Barbeau; grandson, Declan Barbeau; six siblings; and many relatives and friends. A Funeral Mass was held on Aug. 2 at Our Lady of Consolation Church in Parkesburg, Pa. Memorial contributions may be sent to Covenant House (Times Square Station, P.O.
