Allied Building Products Corp. has completed its acquisition of Olympic Supply, a privately held wholesale
building materials supplier.
Allied Building Products Corp., a division of Oldcastle, Inc., announced that it
has completed its acquisition of Olympic Supply, a privately held wholesale
building materials supplier based in Sacramento, Calif.
Olympic Supply, a single branch distributor
of roofing products and accessories, was founded in 1984 in Sacramento by John
McLoughlin and Mike Cooney, and employs 10 people.
“Allied is a great home for our business,”
McLoughlin said. “Allied has an excellent reputation throughout the industry as
a desired acquirer, a stable, long-term organization with a strategic position
in the roofing supply business.”
Bob Feury, Allied’s CEO, said he is
“excited” about the alignment of the two
businesses.
“Olympic Supply is a great addition to our
business in California’s Central Valley,
complementing the operations and products of our Rancho
Cordova branch,” Feury said. “Olympic aligns perfectly with Allied’s
culture and we are excited to have them as part of the Allied family”.
