The kits include four half-gallon pouches of BARR Liquid Waterproofing Membrane and 25 square feet of reinforcement fabric. BARR is a black, single component, cold applied material that cures to an elastic rubber. It can be used above or below grade and will not crack or slump in extreme temperatures. Respirators are never needed because BARR is 100 percent solids, and solvent free. It has a fast skin over time (10 minutes) and creates a permanent waterproof seal that won’t shrink or require callbacks. Material warranties are offered when granules or ballast are added to BARR or to BARR plus the fabric. BARR qualifies for one LEED point for low emitting materials and 5 NAHB Global Impact Points.
