ABC Supply Co. Inc. has added 14 former Bradco Supply Corp.
corporate office associates to its National Support Center (NSC) staff
here.
ABC Supply, the largest wholesale distributor of roofing
in the United
States and one of the nation’s largest
distributors of siding, windows and other select exterior building products,
acquired Avenel, N.J.-based Bradco earlier this year. The purchase added nearly
2,000 associates at 128 building material supply locations in 30 states to the
ABC Supply roster.
The 14 new NSC associates include: Chris Cariello, internal auditor; Jeff Deitz, national account executive;
Mike Foss, operations specialist; Rick Jenkins, director of commercial
sales; Steve Kubicka, director of
commercial products; Gretta Kelly,
internal auditor; Jeff Leyden,
national account executive; Richard
Massenzio, network administrator; Mark Miller, application administrator;
Bob Perhacs, internal auditor; Pete Sharkey, safety/Department of
Transportation training specialist; Mark
Singer, director of real estate; Lee
Stockhammer, product sales manager; and Walt Zimmerman, director of metal
products.
Some of these new team members work from ABC Supply’s NSC
facility here. Others work from various locations
nationwide.
“ABC Supply’s National Support Center exists to support our branches and
the associates working in the field across the country,” said ABC Supply Chief
Executive Officer and President David
Luck. “Our acquisition of Bradco greatly expanded our customer base and
broadened our product offering, which created a need for us to provide
additional support in a variety of areas.
“These Bradco associates bring a wealth of valuable
industry experience to our NSC operations and we are delighted that they have
chosen to join the ABC Supply family,” he added.
Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Beloit, Wis., ABC Supply
today operates 480 locations in 44 states and the District of Columbia. The
company has distinguished itself by following a simple guiding principle – take
care of contractors better than any other distributor. It accomplishes this by
being a “people-first” company that treats its associates with respect and gives
them the tools they need to succeed.
