GAF Materials Corporation is proud to introduce VersaShield Solo Fire Resistant Slip Sheet, a unique slip sheet for installation within roofing assemblies where an increased fire rating is desired. Based on patent-pending technology, one layer of VersaShield Solo slip sheet installed between a combustible deck and EverGuard TPO will deliver a UL Class A Fire Rating. One layer will also reduce installation costs when compared to other fire resistant slip sheets that require multiple layers to achieve equivalent fire ratings. A number of sources, including chimney sparks, a brush fire or airborne brands ejected from a nearby building, can ignite a roof. Therefore premium “fire resistant slip sheets” are an important safety consideration and a critical part of a quality roofing system.
