NEWTON, Mass. - METALCON, the most comprehensive show for metal construction products, will introduce 24 new education programs in a three-day 42-session conference. The show will also host new demos that include an interactive tool day and a live-action missile impact test on different wall systems, and 80,000 square feet of new product offerings for all types of construction applications using metal. The event takes place Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 3-5, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The new education programs cover all areas of designing and building with metal from the basics to the complex. Seven of the new programs are related to cold-formed steel framing, including design concepts, market opportunities, and new foundation and flooring systems, connectors and plan review tips. Nine of the new field technique topics run the gamut from roofing, walls and fasteners to warranties, rain screen systems and onsite roll forming concepts.
