The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) has announced that James Brosseau, vice president, Bennett & Brosseau Roofing Inc., Romeoville, Ill., has been elected president of the MRCA for the 2005-06 year.

LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) has announced that James Brosseau, vice president, Bennett & Brosseau Roofing Inc., Romeoville, Ill., has been elected president of the MRCA for the 2005-06 year. Brosseau was installed as president at the recent 56th Annual MRCA Convention and Trade Show held at the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. As president, Brosseau will preside over a Board of Directors comprised of 22 individuals and will lead over 400 contractor members from across the country.

Brosseau has served on the MRCA Board of Directors since 1997 and has been an officer since 2003. He has served on numerous MRCA committees and has been an active member of MRCA since 1988.

Other officers elected include First Vice President Kurt Steinkuhler, Geo Groh & Sons Inc., Emporia, Kan.; Second Vice President Rod Petrick, Ridgeworth Roofing Co. Inc., Bridgeview, Ill.; Secretary/Treasurer John Daly, Kaw Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc., Kansas City, Kan.; and Chairman of the Board Dennis Runyan, Dryspace Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
