Tidewater Roofing & Exteriors recently led an aggressive drive to raise money for the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life."

HAMTPON, Va.-Tidewater Roofing & Exteriors recently led an aggressive drive to raise money for the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life." Through the donations and participation of its employees and fellow remodeling companies, Tidewater was successful in raising $5,675 for cancer research and patient programs.

Tidewater's passionate effort was inspired by a current employee, who was recently diagnosed with the disease. "Despite our company's rapid growth, we're still a tight, family-oriented organization that really cares about each other," said Christian Miller, marketing director. "The Relay for Life was just another way that we could all show how much we care, and try to make a difference."

And make a difference it did! Within three short weeks, Tidewater Roofing & Exteriors was able to reach its financial goal and recruit the help of several other local remodelers.
