SPRI, Waltham, Mass., the association representing sheet membrane and component suppliers to the commercial roofing industry, announced that the newest update of its comprehensive reference guide is now available. This seventh edition of "Flexible Membrane Roofing: A Professional's Guide to Specifications" is offered on CD-ROM for maximum convenience. For the first time, SPRI's CD-ROM includes generic installation details for all three types of flexible roof membranes: thermoset, thermoplastic and modified bitumen. These are presented in a uniform format for quick review and all are downloadable. The guide includes copies of three ANSI/SPRI standards for fastener field testing, wind design of ballasted roof systems, and edge metal systems.
