Carlisle Achieves N.B. Handy Preferred Vendor Award
Carlisle SynTec Inc., Carlisle, Pa., recently received a Preferred Vendor Award from N.B. Handy Co., Lynchburg, Va., one of the country’s leading distributors of commercial roofing products and a Carlisle Manufacturer’s Representative Distributor.
Initiated in 1999, the program was designed to compare the performance of more than 30 N.B. Handy suppliers from the different industries the company serves. Handy’s annual vendor review program consists of four categories: delivery, service, pricing and quality.
In addition to being recognized as one of Handy’s top overall suppliers, Carlisle took the 2001 Most Innovative Vendor Award, which is presented to the company with the most insight to changing markets.
“Responding to the marketplace, Carlisle has demonstrated creativity and courage to create new products and systems,” commented Sam Meeks, Handy’s vice president of marketing, at the ceremony.
