Cordess Impact Drivers
DeWalt, Baltimore, has introduced a new line of 9.6-, 12-, and 14.4-volt cordless impact drivers and impact wrenches. They deliver nearly three times more torque than traditional cordless drills, while measuring up to 35 percent shorter and weighing up to 20 percent less. The internal impacting mechanism allows users to drive large fasteners without the typical kickback felt on the wrist. The cordless impact drivers feature 1/4-inch hex quick-release chucks for fast and easy changing of quick-release accessories such as nut drivers, power bits, spade bits and twist bits. The cordless impact wrenches feature a 3/8-inch-square drive anvil with hog ring retention for fast and easy socket changes, or 1/2-inch-square drive anvil with detent pin retention for solid socket retention. For ergonomic comfort, the tools feature a wrap-around rubber overmolding with a textured anti-slip grip. In addition, they are small enough to fit into a tool pouch or holster.
