The cornerstone of the agreement is an innovative single-source warranty issued by Sto on Sto® brand cladding systems when used in conjunction with Dow Corning® 790, 791 or 795 Building Sealants and Dow Corning brand primers. "It provides the industry with ‘one-stop shopping' for cladding and restoration systems that will carry a warranty backed by two of the most respected names in the business: Sto and Dow Corning."

Sto's network of distributors across the United States and Canada began offering 790, 791 and 795 Building Sealants and Dow Corning primers in January 2005.
