Drexel Metals Corp., Ivyland, Pa., offers Cedar Ridge Steel Shakes in five colors. The 1 1/8-inch butt thickness gives the shakes a solid wood look. The shakes are designed with a four-way interlock that holds the panels securely together, but allows for the natural contraction and expansion caused by temperature changes. The shingles are coated with a Kynar 500/Hylar 5000 finish for protection against weathering.
