Founded in 1998 by Tim Brown, Advantage Roofing provides residential and commercial roofing installation and repair, siding, gutters, decks and storm damage restoration throughout Kalamazoo and Southwest Michigan.

Brown said the partnership will provide Advantage Roofing with additional resources while allowing the company to continue operating with the approach it has developed over nearly three decades.

“With Ridgeline in our corner, it means more tools in the toolbox for us — bigger team, more support — while we keep doing things the same way we always have,” Brown said.

The transaction continues Ridgeline’s acquisition-driven expansion under Bertram Capital. The company previously acquired Freedom Roofing & Construction in Illinois in June, its seventh acquisition. Ridgeline has also expanded into markets including Minnesota, Nebraska and Missouri.

Bertram Capital first invested in Ridgeline in January 2024. At the time, Ridgeline operated across Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida.
