The Valcourt Group has launched a commercial roofing division and introduced roofing services in the Tampa and Orlando, Florida, markets, the company announced June 17.

The new division expands the company's exterior building services portfolio, adding commercial roofing maintenance, repair, restoration and reroofing services. Tampa and Orlando are the first markets where the company will offer roofing services.

"The launch of our Roofing division represents a significant milestone in the Valcourt Group's mission to be a single-source provider of comprehensive building envelope solutions," CEO Eric Crabb said in a statement.

The roofing services will be offered through Valcourt Building Services and include preventative maintenance programs, repairs, restoration and reroofing. Emergency leak-response services will be provided through the company's ProXpress team.

Brynne Smith, president of roofing for the Valcourt Group, said the division will focus on preventative maintenance to help building owners extend roof life and reduce costs.

"Too often, building owners are forced to make reactive roofing decisions after a leak or major failure occurs," Smith said. "Our goal is to help our customers shift to a proactive maintenance strategy that extends roof life, reduces total cost of ownership, and minimizes disruptions to building operations."

The company said customers will be able to select from tiered maintenance programs offering varying levels of inspection, maintenance and repair services.
