Day 3 of the International Roofing Expo capped off a week that extended well beyond the show floor, underscoring IRE’s role as both a business hub and a community builder for the roofing industry. In the days leading up to the expo, National Women in Roofing hosted a successful two-day NWIR Days event, while volunteers fanned out across Las Vegas for Community Service Day, helping improve living conditions for local residents. ROOFPAC’s annual auction fundraiser and a reception for the Roofing Alliance, NRCA’s philanthropic arm, further highlighted the industry’s commitment to advocacy and giving back.

Once the show officially opened, IRE delivered its signature mix of education, networking, and competition. Attendees connected across packed aisles and meeting spaces, while traditional favorites like the Student Competition showcased the next generation of roofing professionals. College teams put their estimating, project planning, and presentation skills to the test, competing with mock roofing bids that mirrored real-world challenges.

Wednesday evening brought the industry together for a moment of recognition, as the NRCA and Roofing Alliance honored distinguished professionals whose leadership and service have helped shape roofing’s future. This year also marked a notable shift in programming: instead of a traditional keynote, industry leaders, in collaboration with RC, presented a candid, data-driven panel discussion examining where the industry stands—and where it’s headed—in 2026, sparking thoughtful conversation about challenges, opportunities, and long-term direction.
