Metalcon 2025 Makes Education Its Main Event
Las Vegas show delivers training for metal construction pros

METALCON
With skilled labor in high demand and training needs at an all-time high, Metalcon 2025 is putting education center stage. Taking place Oct. 21–23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the event delivers the industry’s most comprehensive metal-focused learning experience. From masterclasses and live-action clinics to hands-on training zones, attendees gain practical skills, continuing education credits, and expert insights they can immediately apply in the field.
With more than 35 educational sessions, attendees can earn AIA and FL CILB continuing education credits, learn from top minds in metal construction, architecture and engineering, and access free educational sessions right on the show floor. Sessions are designed to meet real-world challenges and deliver practical knowledge that contractors, installers, architects, designers, engineers and building owners can immediately apply on the job.

Metalcon's Masterclass Learning Sessions (Room S116) offer deep dives into some of the industry’s most urgent topics:

Metalcon Training Zone
The Metalcon Training Zone, sponsored by Sherwin-Williams, offers hands-on training for roofing contractors. This dedicated area of the exhibit hall features live demonstrations and education using a variety of mock-ups and materials such as painted steel, aluminum, zinc, copper and other exotic materials.
Led by John Sheridan of Sheridan Metal Resources and his team of experts, this zone delivers bilingual (English and Spanish) hands-on training that emphasizes precise detailing and the use of appropriate tools, equipping contractors, remodelers and other professionals to elevate their skills, ensuring the best, most efficient and cleanest work when installing various metal roof systems.
Metal Mastery Clinics
Presented by the Metal Construction Association and Metal Roofing Alliance, this series of clinics takes place on the show floor (Booth 7086) and features expert instruction and installation techniques on:
