METALCON 2025 Expands with Tours, Networking & More

From desert adventures to future-leader programs, METALCON’s October event in Las Vegas blends education with fresh ways to connect across the metal industry.

The metal construction industry's premier gathering is expanding beyond the conventional trade show format this October, offering attendees everything from guided desert tours to speed networking sessions as part of an ambitious agenda designed to foster collaboration across all sectors of the industry.

METALCON 2025, running October 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will kick off with an optional Valley of Fire expedition led by a Marine Corps veteran, followed by targeted networking events including a women-focused breakfast series and the debut of the Future Leaders of METALCON initiative for professionals under 40.

Monday, October 20 – Pre-Show Adventure

Valley of Fire Off-Site Tour

Begin the METALCON experience with an unforgettable half-day adventure through Nevada’s stunning Valley of Fire. Led by U.S. Marine Corps veteran Adam Bautz, founder of Outdoor Travel Tours and a graduate of The Semper Fi & America’s Fund Apprenticeship Program, this guided tour offers a unique opportunity to connect with fellow attendees in a spectacular natural setting. An additional fee applies. This fee will help support Semper Fi & America’s Fund. Select this option during registration.

Tuesday, October 21 – Opening Day Connections

Women in Metal Construction: Metal & Mimosas

Start the day at 7:00 a.m., with a celebratory breakfast event tailored to women in the industry. Enjoy an inspiring talk from Jennifer Wilkerson, of the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), titled “Building Our Tomorrow: Women in the Skilled Trades“. This empowering gathering offers both networking and recognition for the women driving the future of metal construction. Limited space available. Pre-registration required.

Speed Networking
At 3:00 p.m., meet more industry peers in one hour than you might all week! Held on the show floor, this fast-paced event is designed to maximize connections with potential clients, partners and peers. Bring your business cards and be ready to exchange ideas and spark new opportunities. Pre-registration is required. Included with registration. Check the box when signing up.

Welcome Party on the Show Floor

Wrap up Day 1 with a lively Welcome Party beginning at 4:00 p.m., in the central aisles. Mingle with colleagues, forge new friendships, and celebrate the kickoff of METALCON in style.
