Roofing Alliance Announces 2025-26 Scholarship Winners
Eight new scholarships were awarded; 11 others renewed.

The Roofing Alliance awarded $87,000 in scholarships to 19 students for the 2025-26 academic year through its Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship Program.
The program offers three scholarship opportunities, and all categories are open to employees of roofing industry companies, their spouses and dependent children. It is also open to construction management students enrolled at the undergraduate level, as well as students enrolled in CTE programs or schools, regardless of their industry affiliation.
The Roofing Alliance approved eight new Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship recipients, including:
- Jonathan Burt II, studying skilled trades, Henry Ford College
- Noah Donahoe, studying construction management, Minnesota State University Mankato
- Aldyn Hartman, studying building science, Auburn University
- Erin McCoy, studying construction management, University of Florida
- Lainie Morgan, studying architectural design, University of Florida
- Caleb Morrison, studying civil engineering, University of Alabama
- Graham Roh, studying building science, Auburn University
- Kyle Zirigner, studying construction management, Columbus State Community College
In addition, the Roofing Alliance approved 11 renewal scholarships:
- Caylin Angel, Wheeling Jesuit University
- Evan Cady, Western New England University
- Cole Celano, University of North Florida
- Kennedy Jones, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University
- Cecilia Krumholz, University of Minnesota: Twin Cities
- Hallie Lemmon, West Virginia University
- Piper Lewis, Boston College
- Brayden Morford, Carnegie Mellon University
- Alexis Petty, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
- Melina Risi, Clemson University
- Kennedy Stockton, University of Arkansas at Little Rock
“A total of $32,000 was awarded for new scholarships with an additional $55,000 for renewal scholarships,” said Alison LaValley, Roofing Alliance executive director. “Roofing Alliance leadership is very proud to be able to support the roofing industry with these scholarships. To date, a total of 173 students have received $1,252,500 in scholarship awards.”
Details for the 2026-27 Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship program, along with application guidelines, will be available in early October.
