GAF, a Standard Industries company, announced on Tuesday that its complete line of GAF EnergyGuard NH TCPP-Free Polyiso products is now available at standard polyiso pricing.

GAF said it was first in the market to launch a full line of polyiso insulation solutions using a non-halogenated flame retardant that is TCPP-Free.

In a Feb. 25 news release, GAF said EnergyGuard NH TCPP-Free Polyiso products offer excellent thermal value, are free of potentially hazardous flame-retardant chemicals like TCPP and are Red List-Free.

“As a leader in the commercial roofing industry, GAF is committed to delivering best-in-class service and innovative solutions to meet the needs of our customers,” said Alma Garnett, senior vice president of Commercial Sales at GAF.

“The use of sustainable products has become a crucial part of the built environment,” Garnett added. “We are proud to be offering this premium product without a premium price tag.”

GAF said EnergyGuard NH TCPP-Free Polyiso products can help reduce a building’s energy use and associated carbon emissions, and have third-party declarations and certifications, contributing towards meeting criteria for several of the most popular green building rating systems, including LEED, DECLARE, Living Building Challenge, GREENGUARD Gold, GreenCircle Recycled Content Certifications, product-specific Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and Health Product Declarations (HPDs)

In addition to its sustainability benefits, GAF said the EnergyGuard NH line of polyiso products is also low-temp R-value stable, maintaining the same R-value at both a mean temperature of 40°F and 75°F, when tested according to ASTM C1289 standard using the C518 test method.

The full line of TCPP-Free EnergyGuard NH Polyiso products is currently offered in a variety of facers and sizes, including both flat and tapered, as well as cover boards.
