Jacksonville, Fla-based data and technology company itel, which focuses on optimizing the property claims process, announced last week that it has partnered with OneClick Code, a data provider streamlining the building code-sourcing process, to facilitate fast and fair claims decisions.

OneClick Code’s building code and jurisdiction data will now be integrated into itel’s property claims solutions, including repairability analysis products. In a Jan. 8 news release, itel said the partnership enhances its repairability reports by including critical building code details, providing “valuable context” for all parties in property claims.

“Insurers, adjusters and contractors have long faced difficulties in accurately identifying building codes for property claims,” said Garrett Kurtt, founder and CEO of OneClick Code. “We’re thrilled to partner with itel and bring accurate jurisdiction and building code data to more projects, helping key stakeholders in the property claims industry get the data they need to make more informed decisions.”

Because adjusters use various sources to gather information about a property, assess damages and confirm needed repairs, itel says the collaboration OneClick Code will consolidate key data into a single report.

In addition to the strategic partnership, itel participated in OneClick Code’s recent Series A Financing.

“Our partnership with OneClick Code is a reflection of itel’s continuing commitment to an ecosystem-first approach to innovation,” said Brian Matthews, CEO of itel. “By embedding OneClick Code’s industry-leading building code data into the workflows of some of our fastest-growing product lines, we will be able to provide additional clarity to insurers, roofers and homeowners.”

Spokespersons for itel and OneClick will be present to discuss this partnership at upcoming industry conferences, including CoreLogic INTRConnect, January 13-15, in Los Angeles, and Verisk Elevate, February 3-5, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
