S-5! Introduces the S-5-TXL Clamp for Extra-Large Standing Seam Roof Profiles
S-5!, the metal roof attachment solutions company, released the S-5-TXL clamp for standing seam metal roofs. The S-5-TXL is engineered specifically for T-shaped standing seam metal roof profiles with a horizontal projection up to 1.7 inches (43 mm).
S-5! Says the S-5-TXL provides robust, non-penetrating support for demanding applications such as heavy-duty snow guard systems and high-wind regions. The S-5-TXL clamp is compatible with metal roof profiles, including the McElroy Metal Trap-Tee and Morin SymmeTry.
The company also says it features an innovative insert that simplifies installation anywhere along the seam and pairs seamlessly with ColorGard to deliver a strong, reliable snow guard system that reduces the risk of rooftop avalanches.
The S-5-TXL has undergone extensive load testing, including pull-up and drag load evaluations, ensuring top-tier performance and roof integrity. Designed to be non-penetrating, it uses two setscrews that dimple but do not pierce the roofing material, preserving the roof’s warranty.
