Beacon honors Veterans Day by announcing Beacon of Hope winners, providing 10 military veterans with new roofs.

The fifth annual "Beacon of Hope" program by Beacon Building Supply invites nominations to help military veterans needing assistance receive a new roof. The contest is open to all veterans as an expression of appreciation for their service; nominations will be accepted through October 6. 

Beacon will deliver and facilitate roof replacements for 10 veteran contest winners at no cost to the award recipients.

Beacon, along with local roofing contractors, will provide nine grand prize winners with a free roof thanks to its annual Beacon of Hope contest.

Roofing companies are honoring veterans through the gifts of new roofs as well as donations around Memorial Day 2022.

Roofing contractors and manufacturers are finding ways to support veterans in need despite ongoing material shortages.

Beacon announced the winners of its third annual Beacon of Hope contest, giving veterans new roofs free of charge to thank them for their service.

The roofing industry is still reeling from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the supply shortage, but roofing contractors haven’t stopped giving back to others in need.

The public can vote for veterans in need of a safer roof now through Oct. 22 at the Beacon of Hope 2021 website.

Although roofing contractors are dealing with supply shortages and the ongoing pandemic, they're not letting either stop them from supporting their communities in these tough times.
