Bill Collins has more than 29 years of experience in the construction industry. He currently serves as an advisory professional for Pegasus Capital Advisors. In addition, Collins serves as chairman and CEO of Stone Profiles and as chairman of Sensibuilt Building Solutions. Previously, he served as president and CEO of GAF Materials Corporation. He recently took a six-month leave of absence to serve as senior vice president with Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), and he remains involved with HFHI as member of its Global Leadership Council. He is also a member of the Center for Environmental Innovation in Roofing.
Roofing Contractor caught up with Bill Collins, the former president and CEO of GAF Materials Corp. Collins has been out of the day-to-day roofing industry for a couple of years, and we asked him to let us know what he has been up to lately and share his thoughts on the future of the roofing industry.
