A Real-World Product for Reducing the Harmful Effects of Contaminated Air

 Sustainable roofing systems can be many things, but primarily they are assemblies that provide a covering protecting a building from the elements (i.e., water, sun, cold, and heat) while minimizing their burden on the environment and conserving energy.  

A zero-year payback for a building-integrated thin film solar project was achieved in part through utility rebates.

 When we think about “sustainable” or “green,” we tend to focus on the environmental aspects of sustainability, including key natural resources of energy, air, water and materials.  

Maybe we’ve hit bottom and things are on the upswing after all. 

 The year 2011 saw the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration taking an increasingly aggressive stance in using all available information to curb the hiring of unauthorized workers and to penalize employers who do.
