Northstar Clean Technologies received a Canadian patent for its asphalt shingle reprocessing technology, effective until 2042, and has a pending Patent Cooperation Treaty application for global patent rights.  

GAF Energy's Timberline Solar roof shingles have been approved for installation in Sterling Ranch, Colo., meeting the community's safety, energy production, and aesthetics standards, aiding its 100% renewable electricity goal by 2030.
