In five inspections of the contractor's worksites in Honesdale and Scranton, OSHA has proposed $178,649 in penalties for repeated failures to comply with federal requirements for fall protection.

A single-engine plane carrying three people crashed into the roof of a Georgetown, Texas, home on Sunday. The three passengers aboard the aircraft were rescued at the scene and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The home was unoccupied at the time of the accident. 

A roof collapse at a middle school gymnasium in China's northwest province resulted in 11 fatalities, with construction work at the school being identified as the likely cause due to materials being stored on the roof, according to multiple media outlets.
