The commitment to excellence at Carlisle SynTec Systems is not just about delivering products but about the relationships and trust built with customers. This belief is mirrored in the work of CRS Sales & Marketing LLC, the exclusive representative of Carlisle SynTec Systems in Georgia, renowned for its exceptional service in the commercial roofing industry.

At the heart of Carlisle SynTec Systems is a commitment encapsulated in the motto: “Together, we deliver a world-class customer experience through personal connections, operational excellence, and innovation during the moments that matter.” This guiding principle forms the base of Carlisle’s dedication to excellence, symbolized by the crystal Carlisle Experience Award presented at the Carlisle SynTec Systems 2024 national Sales Meeting in Orlando last December.

The Carlisle Experience Award underscores the importance of quality in the Carlisle experience, emphasizing the care and attention extended to authorized applicators. The award’s double helix shape represents a drive to provide the Carlisle experience as part of the company’s DNA. Carlisle has a tradition of prestigious awards, but this one stands out as it focuses on the care and attention given to customers.

Carlisle SynTec Systems’ Director of Sales Kevin Somers recently visited Georgia with the CRS Sales & Marketing executive team and had the chance to meet with five major authorized applicators. Each praised CRS for their outstanding service, even in a challenging year marked by supply chain issues. Their strategic and logistical prowess ensured complete job orders, and their transparency and honesty in difficult times further cemented their respect among customers.

Each contractor went out of their way, unsolicited, to tell Somers and the Carlisle contingent how proud they were to partner with CRS. Even when the supplier couldn’t provide all the requested materials, they supplied completed jobs to contractors trying to make the most of challenging scheduling demands. More importantly, when they couldn’t provide materials, they were transparent and earned more customer respect by being upfront and honest.

"This award celebrates their outstanding commitment to delivering a world-class customer experience through personal connections, operational excellence, and innovation. CRS Sales & Marketing exemplifies the Carlisle Experience by empowering contractors, creating seamless project links, prioritizing training, and maintaining top-notch support, all of which have driven their remarkable success." — Kevin Somers, Director of Sales, Carlisle SynTec Systems

That transparency said something special about this group of dedicated professionals.

"At Carlisle SynTec Systems, we believe that creating meaningful connections with our customers and partners is the foundation of our success,” Somers said.

Somers went into more detail about why the team at CRS stood out among others in consideration for the inaugural award while honoring the company during the award ceremony.

“This award celebrates their outstanding commitment to delivering a world-class customer experience through personal connections, operational excellence, and innovation,” he said. “CRS Sales & Marketing exemplifies the Carlisle Experience by empowering contractors, creating seamless project links, prioritizing training, and maintaining top-notch support, all of which have driven their remarkable success.”

Standing Out

CRS is a unique company in the roofing space as it operates as a regional distributor in Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida and a manufacturer’s representative in the Peach State. Since 1981, the company has built a reputation as a go-to supplier for commercial and residential roofing materials in the Southeast, and officials say they still strive to be a “one-stop” shop for roofing contractors.

“Our primary focus has always been to provide a higher level of customer service to our roofing contractors than our competitors,” said James Hoag, Carlisle representative with CRS.

From the sales representative side, they can leverage benefits like onsite field support, technical knowledge, code expertise, product knowledge, and a solid architectural and consulting presence in the market.

“We have the unique ability to walk a job through from the front-end design and specification stage, during all phases of construction, up to the issuance of the roofing warranty,” Hoag explained.

Also, most of the group is accredited by the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants, making them the most-accredited Carlisle rep group in the nation and earning a reputation as a technical resource for roofers.

The combination of factors and critical, pivotal business principles implemented from the top to the bottom of the organization has also formed the bedrock of sustainable growth for CRS.

Along with the aforementioned IIBEC credentials, their team includes certified professionals with RRO and RRC credentials. Additionally, they actively participate in industry associations and educational institutions, further demonstrating their commitment to excellence.

These principles have driven CRS Sales & Marketing's sustainable growth. Sales volume has increased in 13 of the last 15 years, making 2023 a record-breaking year. This achievement highlights their commitment to the “Carlisle Experience” and setting new standards within the commercial roofing industry.

"Our primary focus has always been to provide a higher level of customer service to our roofing contractors than our competitors. We have the unique ability to walk a job through from the front-end design and specification stage, during all phases of construction, up to the issuance of the roofing warranty." — James Hoag, Carlisle Representative, CRS Inc.

Through several critical practices, CRS Sales & Marketing embodies customer service's ‘gold standard’. They empower authorized applicators by enhancing business operations for increased profitability and reduced liability. Their streamlined project management creates a seamless link from bid to project closure. Prioritizing training ensures continuous development for both employees and customers. Efficient warranty coordination provides prompt on-site service for effective support.

With a roofing-centric approach, they leverage practical, hands-on experience in roofing and project management.

“CRS Sales & Marketing has exemplified this belief through its unwavering commitment to operational excellence, adopting innovative products, and genuine care for its customers,” Somers added. “We are proud to honor their exceptional dedication and the impact they have made in the commercial roofing industry."
