“I have been a vendor/partner of the IRE since 2021. When I originally signed up to be a vendor/partner, it was merely to increase our presence in the roofing industry, introduce and offer our learning and development curriculum, and introduce our member’s products,” said Rob Balfanz, senior director of workforce development, Vinyl Siding Institute. “Upon completion of the first IRE event, what we received was so much more than that. While at the event, we connected with familiar faces, developed connections with some of the most brilliant minds in the industry, learned more about the NRCA, about the IRE, Informa, distribution, supply chain, and even learned more about our own association and industry.

"I have been to many, many other events like this, yet the IRE exceeded my expectations on many fronts. That said, we signed up again, for another year going into 2022. In 2022, we increased our services and offerings for the event, and as a result, the number of visitors at our booth increased, and our education event attendance grew as well.”

In addition to the expansive show floor, IRE hosts comprehensive education sessions on relevant industry topics including tips on siding, replacements and installation tools, to provide attendees with new knowledge on business, building techniques, and more. The education sessions are an additional tool to deepen industry knowledge and stimulate innovation, while providing professionals the opportunity to present their insights.
