The International Roofing Expo (IRE) revealed that Reid Ribble, CEO of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), will be the keynote speaker for its 2022 event.

The 2022 IRE, scheduled for Feb. 1-3 in New Orleans at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, will feature the roofing industry’s top suppliers and manufacturers, 60-plus educational sessions taught by leading industry experts, and various networking events.

Ribble will kick off this year’s IRE with a presentation at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 1 titled, “Lessons … An insider’s look at 40 years of learning, falling, failing, and succeeding.” Ribble will share a life’s worth of lessons learned from his father, his roofing business, his time in Congress and leading the roofing industry as the NRCA CEO.

Following graduation from high school, Ribble worked for his family’s commercial and residential roofing company in Wisconsin. He then served residents of Wisconsin in the U.S. House of Representatives for three terms before becoming president of the NRCA from 2005 to 2006 and then its CEO in 2016. In addition to growing membership, he’s helped the organization focus on training and speaking with a unified voice on local and national issues impacting the roofing industry.
