The Home Depot, Buildertrend Provide End-to-End Purchasing Integration for Professional Contractors

ATLANTA — The Home Depot and Buildertrend are launching a partnership that provides construction professionals with advanced technology to help them manage and grow their businesses, along with a fully-integrated purchasing experience and exclusive discounts. This new integration enables pros to complete more projects while reducing delays, eliminating communication errors and increasing customer satisfaction.

This one-of-a-kind platform combines the benefits of The Home Depot’s Pro Xtra loyalty program with Buildertrend’s powerful software. The newly-integrated experience will allow Buildertrend users who are Pro Xtra members to view real-time availability and purchase products from The Home Depot, all within the Buildertrend app. Plus, Buildertrend users can unlock additional savings on items at The Home Depot they buy most.

“Professional contractors tell us they’re busier than ever, many with months of backlogged jobs,” said Hector Padilla, executive vice president of sales and service for The Home Depot. “This new integrated platform with Buildertrend will help contractors manage their businesses more efficiently and profitably by giving them access to The Home Depot’s Pro pricing and other benefits.”

The Home Depot Pro Xtra members can receive an exclusive offer of up to 10% off Buildertrend’s cloud-based software. In addition, Buildertrend launched a new tool helping users manage their receipts by syncing all in-store or online purchases made at The Home Depot into the Buildertrend software, giving users the ability to track those purchases with the appropriate project. 

“This integration advances our focus on providing adaptive and intuitive technology designed to boost our customers' profitability and efficiency. Buildertrend users who are Pro Xtra members will experience The Home Depot's first end-to-end purchasing integration with a construction project management software," said David Arnold, chief strategy officer at Buildertrend. "We're proud of this innovative integration and partnership with The Home Depot.” 

Pro Xtra is The Home Depot’s loyalty program designed just for Pros, including members-only benefits, like perks, volume pricing, exclusive product offers, paint rewards and more. Members can also log in to The Home Depot mobile app and scan their Pro Xtra Virtual ID at checkout to access savings, redeem offers and track spending to earn toward perks.
