Keene Family of Cos. Hires Four

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Keene Family of Cos. has announced the hiring of four new team members in its manufacturing and accounting departments.

Mackenzie “Mac” Magruder joins Keene Building Products as a manufacturing engineer. Magruder interned for Keene Building Products for three years, before joining full-time. A graduate from Cleveland State University, Magruder received a degree in mechanical engineering. Magruder specializes in process improvement and machine design, making him a key component in contributing to the quality of Keene’s manufacturing processes, according to the company.

The accounting department has added Jacqueline M. Thomas to the team. Thomas previously worked at KAPCO as an accounting assistant, and has held positions as credit/collections manager, as well as several positions in the culinary industry. Thomas brings with her to Keene, a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Youngstown State, as well as an associate’s degree in hospitality management. Thomas will cover accounts receivables for all companies under the Keene Family.

Continental Products is pleased to announce two new hires as well. Geoff Lamphier has been hired as the production manager, overseeing all manufacturing processes. Lamphier joins with over 10 years’ experience in the coatings industry. Before, joining Continental, Lamphier worked at Eckhart America, and specialized in the production of metallic pigments and paints. Lamphier is also an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 auditor.

Additionally, Colby McCoy rejoins the Continental Team. McCoy started her career at Cansto Coatings, now merged with Continental Products Ltd. A graduate of Marshall University, McCoy has an extensive background in accounting, purchasing, and customer service. McCoy will take on the position of business administrator, helping Continental Products in all areas of business development and accounting.
